Im due to finish in 5 weeks when Im 32 weeks.
Some people seem to think this is a little early.
To me, Im struggling with travelling into work on the train at the minute, so 32 weeks I figure Ill be very ready to finish.
Id also like the time to myself to prepare etc and take it easy whilst ive got the quiet! xx

I finished at 36 weeks but the first three weeks is holiday, so technically my maternity leave hasn't started yet.
Ignore what people say, it's totally up to you and the rest will do you good!

I left at 29 weeks too. I admire those of you staying for longer, I am too tired for full time work now!

I finished at 37 weeks. Was meant to be 38 but I just couldn't do it any longer. And that was with 7 weeks holidays over the summer (I'm a teacher)

I will be about 38 weeks if something doesnt happen sooner....although sometimes I wish it does because I'm just so tired and hate driving 45 min to work and 45 min home. I only work 3 days a week

I'm due to finish at 36 weeks but already struggling at 29 weeks as I'm sat at a desk from 9am - 6pm.
Thinking about asking my boss if I can work 9 -4 from 30 weeks till I leave.

My first day mat leave will be at 39+1
I drive to and from work which only takes 20/30 mins each way, sit at a desk all day and do 4 day week. If i was on my feet or had a horrible commute i would have left by now.

I am planning to finish at 38 weeks too. I have 4 days leave to take too and at moment am unsure whether to work shorter weeks on my last month or finish an extra week early.
It's hard to know. Apart from feeling tired now I feel good, would love to finish about a month or so before but worry I'll wish I had more time off with the baby after.

I have 11 days left... It's not been too bad for me to be honest, I still walk 30 mins to the train & it's a 10 minute journey from there. I think keeping mobile and busy has helped me. I had a day off yesterday (I work shifts) and my feet swelled so badly as I was just sat on the couch (should have elevated them but I didn't realise until it was too late)
I think the walking has helped with my circulation & joints. It obviously isn't for everyone working so late, but I've had a good pregnancy, just starting to get a bit tired now by the time I get home.
Luckily my OH makes dinner & cleans up
and we don't have any other children to tire us out, I imagine being pg, and working full time with a LO would be very hard!

I left at 29 weeks, glad i'm not the only one as most ladies tend to leave it later. I'm not going back either, and I absolutely hated it there and wanted out ASAP. The amount of funny looks and comments I got for leaving so early was ridiculous but I didn't care tbh. The government says it's ok for women to start mat leave at 29 weeks, so no one has the right to judge tbh. If they don't like it then maybe they should wright a letter to the pm about it!*rant over*

I finish end of next week so will be 37+3. But my first 2 weeks off are annual leave so my maternity leave doesn't actually start until i am 39+6 . Its just started to take its toll now. I work in a nursery and am currently doing 7.45am til 5.30pm as one of our staff is off x

I'm finishing at 35+3 and taking 3 weeks holiday, so my maternity starts at 38+3.
Can't wait now, only 6 weeks to go!
